Police in Scottsdale, Arizona recently arrested Shanesha Taylor for child abuse after the woman left her two young children in her car while she attended a job interview. Cops say that Taylor left her two children, ages 6 and 2 in her Dodge Durango for about 45 minutes with no supervision.
The children were discovered by a passerby who noticed that the kids were in the vehicle with the engine turned off and the windows slightly open. Taylor returned to her vehicle and found police officers waiting for her. She advised the officers that she was homeless and did not have anyone to care for the children while she went through the interview process.
Scottsdale Police Sergeant said “She was upset. This is a sad situation all around. She said she was homeless. She needed the job. Obviously not getting the job. So it’s just a sad situation”.
After her arrest the children were taken and placed in the custody of CPS.
