Atlanta based writer/director Sandra Hodge has created a play called ‘Daddy’s Maybe’ which is about the journey of two young men as they come of age and make choices that have life long repercussions. This story is a dramatic spotlight on teenage pregnancy from the male point of view with a realistic twist that encompasses faith, forgiveness and redemption. Daddy’s Maybe passionately reinforces the wisdom: we all make mistakes, but how we choose to correct them defines who we are.
The play is currently a participant in the DC Black Theatre Festival and will be featured on June 23rd at 5pm & 7pm. This play celebrates responsible fathers and challenges young men to make positive choices. The company who created the play will donate 10% of their proceeds to two local charities that serve under-resourced youth, and they’ve made sure to include local teenagers from the under-resourced demographic in our cast. www.daddysmaybe.com
